Established in 1859, Trinity Parish has a wealth of history. Besides its own history, Trinity is a part of the World-Wide Anglican Communion with its long and ancient Judeo-Christian Tradition. After two devastating fires, Trinity regained its vitality again in 1985 when the Windmill Alliance, Inc. was formed.
Because of the openness and progressive nature of our Clergy and Congregation, these ministries are unique to the city of Bayonne and to the vision of the people of God working together in the 21st Century! Ministries that are examples of God's presence at work in our world today through dedicated people.
We invite you to look at our pages to learn about us and sense the joy that comes from serving others. If you live nearby, you are welcome to become an active part of our parish and community life.

Our Mission

Our mission is to cultivate and spread the Good News of God's love in Christ through faith by honoring the dignity and gifts of the individual, providing opportunities for spiritual growth and renewal, embracing the diversity of our communities.

A Jubilee Center

The Episcopal Church, at every level, is taking steps to increase the effectiveness of the total ministry of congregations. The creation of the Jubilee Ministry in 1982 by the General Convention in New Orleans heralded a new era of work for the Episcopal Church. Since then, Jubilee has emerged as a broad avenue of over 700 community-based outreach programs across the county and Puerto Rico. The Windmill Alliance, Inc. is now once such Jubilee Center.

GREAT NEWS

A few months ago the former Bishop of Ft. Worth, TX decided to leave our church and tried to take all the people of the diocese with him to another part of the Anglican Communion. Some people left with him but many others did not want to leave. Our Presiding Bishop, Katharine Jefferts Schori and our National Episcopal Church appointed another bishop to Ft. Worth. The Episcopal Diocese of Ft. Worth, TX continues to reorganize and flourish. Here is the sermon she preached at the celebration of their new beginning: Watch and Listen:
