Planning a wedding is a beautiful and joyful undertaking. In full accordance with the policies of the Diocese of Newark and in keeping with New Jersey State law, our parish offers same sex couples recognition and access to all sacraments, including Marriage.
The wedding liturgy of the Episcopal Church is used for the ceremony. At least one of the parties must be a baptized Christian. All couples preparing for marriage, need to meet with the clergy for marriage preparation.
Please know that we discourage setting a wedding date before speaking to the clergy. Sacramental preparation is at least a four to five month period.
