Fellowship
Episcopalians are well known for their hospitality -- it's often said that coffee hour is the "eighth sacrament." It's not literally true, but we do love to get together over food and drink and enjoy each other's company! Here are some of the ways we celebrate with each other.
Coffee Hour
Every Sunday after our 9:30 AM service, we have coffee and bagels in the Parish Hall. We gather together in the Parish Hall to talk, laugh, and share stories. Coffee Hour is one of the easiest ways to get to know the members of our Trinity family!
Communal Meals
We have four communal meals each year Our Spring Potluck is held in March, while our second potluck takes place in June. In the fall, we have our annual "welcome back" celebration on the Sunday after Labor Day. It begins with our annual "Mass on the Grass," followed by a picnic/barbeque. Finnally, on the last Sunday before Christmas, we observe the Anglican tradition of "greening the church." Trinity family members decorate the sanctuary for the season, trim the Christmas tree and then sit down to enjoy a meal together.
Other annual events include our Mardi Gras Pancake Supper on the evening before Ash Wednesday and our breakfast with Santa on the first weekend of December. These events provide us with an opportunity to have fun and get to know other members of the community in an enjoyable, casual setting. We also have a luncheon that takes place on Trinity Sunday (one week after Pentecost), right after our Annual Meeting
