Boy Scout Troop and Cub Scout Pack 27 have been part of the Boy Scouts of America for over 80 years. Our legacy in Bayonne, NJ began at the Our Lady of Assumption Parish. Since January 2016, we have found our new home at Trinity Episcopal Parish. We meet on Wednesday evenings from September through June. Meetings begin at 6:30 PM for Cub Scouts and at 7:00 PM for the Boy Scouts.
Our leaders are dedicated to continuing a vision of scouting that has evolved from decades of experience and pursuing BSA leadership training. We are committed to upholding the values taught in the leadership program, giving Scouts the support needed to work through the scouting program and earn scouting's highest award, Eagle Scout.
Our scouting program promotes a family-like atmosphere. We give our scouts the opportunity to explore new and different experiences, learning and practicing new skills while they gain an appreciation of the outdoors. They also learn different ways to contribute to and help our local communities and they are encouraged to practice leadership skills by taking charge of and contributing to scout-run events and activities.
Our leadership team includes:
Frank Scibetta, Troop and Pack Committee Chair
Robert Hickey, Scoutmaster
Justin Weckesser, Assistant Scoutmaster, Northern New Jersey Council, Three Rivers District Unit Commissioner
Giancarlo Esposito, Assistant Scoutmaster
Dan Alfieri, Cubmaster
Margo Alfieri, Assistant Cubmaster
If you have any questions about our program, please email Dan Alfieri.
